Hey John. I was just reading an interview you did on room acoustics. Good interview. I think many people lose site of the room's integrity. They think because they're tracking or mixing internally, (inside protools), that they don't have to worry about the room, yet every decision they make is based on how the room affects the wave as it travels from the speaker to the ear.

The interview reminded me of an idea I had while at SFSU. Basically, the concept is similar to the noise canceling headphones. My idea was to make a noise rejecting gobo. A speaker in a box connected to a shotgun mic listening to the sound coming at it, capturing that sound and playing it back against itself. Acoustic phase canceling. They got it to work with the headphones, do you think this concept could work for studios?
